Buying Items

 

It is very simple and straight forward to buy items with Yoobos

 

1. Select the Item you want to buy

Find the Item by using the site search facilities, then select the Item by clicking either on the Item picture or description. You will then be presented with the Item summary page.

 

2. Check the Item description

There are various parts to the Item summary page, take your time to read the whole section before committing yourself to make the purchase.

  • Price, check the price and currency.
  • Time remaining, this indicates how long the item has before expiring.
  • Seller, check the rating of the seller, their location and how long they have been a member.
  • Quantity Available, check how many are available.
  • Postage, review the postage costs and any specific deliivery requirements.
  • Item Location.
  • Payment methods, check that you are happy with the available payment methods.
  • View Questions and Answers, check to see if there are any questions and answers for this Item.
  • Watch Item, if you don't want to buy the Item just yet, select the 'Watch this item' which will store a link to the Item from your account, you will also be notified 1 day before the store is about to expire.
  • View other items, you can select the option to view other items in this store.

 

3. Buy the Item

Once you have decided to buy the Item, select the Buy Now option, this will present you with a summary of the Item and it's corresponding costs. Carefully review this page before cofirming the purchase.

The various parts to check are:

  • That the picture and name correspond to the Item you selected
  • The Postage costs
  • The Quantity of Items
  • The Price of the Item

When you are happy that this is the Item you want and the details are correct, you can then choose the payment method.

To complete the purchase check the box indicating that you agree to the terms and conditions and then select the Confirm and pay option.

A confirmation email is then sent to yourself and the Seller, summarising the purchase.
