No commission! - We can't believe that after you've paid to list your items most sites will charge you commission on your sales as well. A lot of you already know how expensive this can be. At Yoobos we will NOT charge you commission EVER. This is not a special offer! - This is our Policy!

At Yoobos, we've approached pricing in a different way to other online trading sites. All our costs are up front, all you pay for is the store rental which lasts for 1 month. There are no hidden charges or commission payments on any items sold. This along with all the other features means that this is the place to be to sell.

 

 

Enhanced store features

Have you ever wanted your own e-commerce site but felt it would be too complicated or costly to set up?

Well now you can. With the Yoobos Enhanced Stores facility you will be able to make your store look like your own e-commerce site, at a fraction of the cost and without being tied into a lengthy contract. An Enhanced Store is your own domain within yoobos (eg. www.yoobos.com/yourstore/).

 

Multi-buy discount feature

Sellers will be able to set discounts based on how many of a particular item is bought. (eg. buy one get the second half price). All the discounts are set at each item level when creating your store  so you can have different offers for different items if you want to.


 

Sell more for the same price

Forget about Dutch Auctions. This is your own virtual store, your own personalised selling space on the net. You can list as many of the same items you like and it only counts as one item. This is an amazing feature that won''t cost you any more.



FREE item swap out facility

We're sure all your quality items will sell at an alarming rate. We also know that some things won't. If an item isn't selling or you just want to refresh the look of your store, at Yoobos, you can swap out both sold and unsold items COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE for the duration of your store rental. So the wise sellers amongst you will realize that this along with the 'sell more for the same price' feature means you can have a store refreshing and restocked as much as you want for the same one off price.


Newsletter sign-up

Non-registered visitors are able to subscribe to a free newsletter displaying featured stores. This enhances our ability to promote your products both inside and outside the Yoobos member community.



 

This is not an auction site!

There is no concept of winners and losers here. If you think the item you are interested in is worth the price being asked, just click the " buy now" button. The seller will be automatically notified of your purchase and confirmation emails will be sent to both parties, whereupon you can agree payment & delivery.


 

Watch items and store feature

Buyers will be able to watch items and stores just create your own 'watch list' and view it in your account area. Sellers will be alerted when their store is nearing the end of its rental period.



 

It's completely FREE to join!

There are no membership fees at Yoobos.




Make an offer

If the seller has indicated that they are willing to accept an offer, you can click the " make offer" button and name your price. You may get an even better deal if the seller accepts your offer.



 

Sell from anywhere

Our SMS text messaging system will allow you to receive enquiries, offers and notifications of sales to your mobile/cell phone. You can be constantly kept up to date with the people who want to buy from you. (Note text messaging has a minor cost associated and therefore is completely optional).


 

Promote your business online

It's about you and your business - add your logo image to your Store, so buyers can instantly know they are in the right place. Use the description box to tell everybody about you and your business.



A Few Examples:

  • If you're a market trader (stall holder), not only can you show the world a sample of your wares. You also tell them at which markets they can find you and on what days of the week. This logic also applies to Car Boot/Garage/Yard Sales.
  • If you're a local retailer, that does not want to go to the expense of establishing an internet presence, then use Yoobos to tell people where you are and what you sell.
  • If you just want to clear out old stock, tell potential customers about yourself at the same time.

Basically, it's free advertising

The general theme here is " use your Store to tell potential customers about yourself", but what it really boils down to is – Advertise your business to the world.

 

Image upload capabilities

Unlike other e-Marketplaces, Yoobos will offer the option to load up to six images per item at no extra cost.



 

Choose your preferred currency

You can select various methods of payment: cheques, cash or other and choose your preferred currency from a predefined list (if using PayPal the currency/conversion and so on would be determined by PayPal).



Easy store creation process

Yoobos store creation is simple to use. We offer sellers the ability to navigate and re-edit previously added items during the store creation process.
